Our Beautiful Alaina
With very heavy hearts we share with you, Tuesday March 17th, 2020 our ROCK, our SUPERSTAR, our HERO, was in a tragic single car collision on Jackson Highway. According to witnesses, she was traveling around 45 mph when she appeared to hydroplane and lose control of her vehicle, leaving the roadway and crashing into a pole. Alaina received aid immediately by passersby and had to be cut from her vehicle by the jaws of life. Alaina was rushed to UCD Medical Center where she has receieved excellent care.
Despite all of the doctors and nurses valiant efforts and Alaina's fighting spirit, she was declared brain dead on Wednesday evening.
Alaina will be kept on life support until she can gift her vital organs.
Alaina is our daughter, a loving sister to Ayla, Remington, and her brother Maverick (Mike's son). She attends Sierra College, is a member of the Sierra College Swim and Waterpolo team, a member of Sacramento Waterpolo, attending Junior Olympics for the last 5 years.
Alaina is a fearless worker bee at California Auto House, always going above and beyond to help Pete do anything and everything. She constantly goes out of her way to help and make people smile.
If not in the pool or at the shop she helping at the house with chores and with her sisters.
Alaina loves music, singing, singing off key, instagram makeup tutorials, and her FAMILY.
Alaina is everything to us. She makes us smile and has the quirkiest personality and there are endless "Alaina-isms."
Alaina has been my rock for many years and I simply could not have existed without her and Ayla. Her smile and laugh are contagious and she always lifts me up.
There are not enough words to express our loss. She is truely one of the most amazing people, and to know her is to love her.
We feel so blessed to have been a part of her life.
We are asking for monetary donations here, and Jennifer has organized a food train.
There is no estimate to what we will need financially at this time. Without ignoring the state of the world at this time, please help us in our time of need. There will be costs associated with the accident, medical care, and cremation. Any additionally money received will go to helping her sisters with anything they may need. All money gathered with this fundraiser will be used to pay for these costs outlined above.
It is fitting that her selfless life will end in the restoration of others.
Our plan is to have a huge celebration at a more appropriate time.
Please feel free to reach out to either one of us via text, understanding if we cannot respond. We are receiving all of the outpour of love and are overwhelmed. Thank you to all, and we are responding as time allows.
