Our mother Fatima is a super fantastic, giving, and loving human being. She always opened her home to those in need. Her personality is very energetic and unique. Her love for Allah(God), is so deep and heartfelt.
Several years ago our mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. We fought the great fight, Chemo, Natural Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine and other therapies. They were very helpful, as the doctors only give her 1 year to live about five years ago, however it did not stop the spread of the cancer. The cancer ate away her breasts leaving open wounds that bandages had to be changed daily. Her trust in Allah(God) has gotten her through what most couldn't even comprehend. Recently she fell and broke her arm. She was given a whole body scan and it revealed that the cancer has spread to her brain, spine and abdomen. I lived with hope of a cure and used most of my finances to support her current health and medical expenses. I have not been able to save for her Janazah ( Funeral Expenses). I have seven children and currently my husband is the only person working full-time. I have recently taken on a part-time job to help save for the funeral expenses, however I don't think I will have effort time before my mother passes,( Allah knows best). The doctor has giving her about a week to live. The cancer in her brain is causing ongoing stokes in her brain, which are impairing her ability to eat and speak. We are taking her home, so she can die in the comfort of her home with her love ones. I am asking the community and those that love her and know her to help her family during this time of hardship. Your support will always be remembered and appreciated by me and my family. Thank you so much. Jazak Allah Khayr.
