I am Tasneem Al-Madhoun, 18 years old… and I survived death.
I never dreamed of more than a simple life.
To continue my university education after high school,
to build my future with my own hands.
But I got married during the war,
and now I live in a tent that cannot protect me from the heat of summer or the cold of winter.
Then a drone bullet struck me…
It entered my chest.
I was bleeding… my life hanging by a thread.
I was alone in the intensive care unit,
surrounded by machines,
fighting pain and fear,
wondering: Is this how my life ends at eighteen?
I survived… but the wound remains in my body,
and the fear remains in my heart.
I need ongoing medical treatment that I cannot afford.
I need a roof that preserves my dignity.
I need to return to being a university student instead of remaining trapped in a tent and in pain.
I am not asking for luxury…
I am asking for my right to live.
Your donation may seem small to you,
but to me, it is treatment,
education,
safety,
and a new beginning after I almost lost everything.
Please do not leave me to face this alone.
Help me heal… help me live… help me dream again.
