Our Doorman, Carlos Santana

Dear Neighbors,

You may have heard the sad news that our beloved doorman, Carlos Santana, tragically passed away last week. The memorial service is scheduled for this Saturday, May 25 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at Benta's Funeral Home (630 St. Nicholas Ave, New York NY 10030).

Carlos was a dedicated member of the staff and an integral part of The Whitney community since 2011, and the Board is committed to doing everything we can to honor his service and help his family during this difficult time.

To show our support, the Board has set up this page to provide immediate financial support for his memorial services and arrangements. Your contributions will go directly to Carlos’ family and will go a long way to lifting one of the many burdens they now faces. Additionally, the Board of Managers will generously match donations up to $10,000, doubling the impact of your generosity.
