Our dearest Allisu needs support!

Hi everyone. I'm calling together the many friends of Allison Gerlach to help her with the backbreaking expenses related to her breast cancer surgery and treatment. By "friend" I mean anyone who has spent 30 seconds or more with her - because if you have, I can guarantee she's offered to let you crash at her place, cook you a meal, drive you to the airport, help you move, loan you an outfit, get you a job, hold your hand at the hospital or give you her last dollar. All with a smile, and all without expecting a single thing in return.

As you probably know, Allison recently underwent a double masectomy due to not one but two types of breast cancer. In spite of having insurance, she has thousands of dollars of bills to pay. Not only have the bills added insult to injury, she is still grieving the loss of her sister, Dana, who battled cancer for almost a decade before she passed away not even two years ago. NOT FAIR is an understatment.

Allison does not know about this fundraiser, so I'm not posting it on social media yet. Please help spread the word. She's a roll up her sleeves and take on more work type of person, so I'd love to suprise her with the help she needs but would never request. Thank you for any help you can give!! Best, Sharene
