Our beloved friend and colleague lost a very short battle against covid 19. He leaves behind a wife and two young children. I would like us to raise as much money as possible to help support his family at the awful time. Khalid was one of the kindest most gentle persons you could ever meet. He was a Health Care Assistant at Watford General on Bluebell Ward (dementia care), and he previously worked at Hemel Hempstead. An NHS career spanning well over 15years. Any death is tragic, but when linked to Covid it just seems so unfair. I know how each of us has to put on a brave face and continue fighting this battle, but I hope a treasured memory with khalid will help us see it through.
