In Memory of Our Dear Friend, Mike Adams
Donation protected
I am one of many who owes much to Mike Adams. He gave and he shared and he taught and he showed up and he nurtured and he listened and he patroned and he loved without boundaries. His mind was brilliant and his luminous heart made this cruel, unfair world a better place. To me, he was family. To others, he was consul, a crying shoulder, a comrade, an advocate, and a dear, dear friend. His sudden loss is immeasurable.
To honor our friend, we are called upon to give like he has.
The cost of a funeral, travel, and comfort for his family are things to which we can all contribute. He leaves behind a mother, a father, and two brothers. As we grieve, let them celebrate his life without being saddled with monetary hardship. As we contribute, let them know how much we appreciate everything Mike did for us.

Message from the family
“Mike was one of a kind. He was the very best of all of us. If Mike cared about you he made you aware of that fact and you knew you could count on him for anything. He WAS Knoxville. Mike absolutely cherished All of his friends from the pilot light, to central cinema and everywhere in between. Mike was in his prime when he was amongst his friends and his family. A night well spent for Mike was being around the people he loved. We are heartbroken and devastated and we know a lot of you are as well. You just have to know that each and every one of you helped Mike feel that Knoxville was where he belonged and was home in Knoxville. Honor him moving forward with appreciating art, with spending time with your friends, with asking questions and seeking answers, and most of all just try to be a good person and kind to one another”
