Our dear friend Lee is fighting for her life!

I am Lee's friend Lynn, and I am fundraising because Lee is fighting Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. She is an independent woman who does not ever want to ask for help. So I am asking for her. She is brave and strong, but the cost of chemo, ER bills, an ambulance, medical care, and trying to pay for rent, food, utilities, etc., makes her life extremely difficult. Lee is applying for social disability, but that can take months to process and she has applied to several Cancer funds.

 

Lee cannot work because she is very sick right now and the chemo makes her feel even sicker.  She is trying to figure out how to make ends meet.

 

It's disturbing that we live in a country that doesn't take care of its citizens when they are sick and cannot work.

 

This is why I need to reach out to the people who care about Lee's well being and anyone else who wants to help this kind, loving, beautiful, person get through this very challenging time in her life.
