Our dear friend, Leann Shaw, needs our help!

Leann is well known through the community as a passionate, well-respected, well-loved behavioral health counselor. Late this past fall, Leann unexpectedly lost a dear family member to Covid. This required a lot of time away from work and away from her family so she could be with her loved one in those last few days, plan and attend the funeral and be with her family to grieve. Then, on Christmas weekend, Leann became ill herself. What she thought was going to be a bothersome virus turned into a 7 day hospital stay over the holidays for pancreatitis. While hospitalized she had many tests done and has been diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma. Leann will have to have multiple surgeries to remove part or all of her kidney and to place a stent for her pancreas. She will be off work for several weeks to recover from each surgery.

This is where we need YOUR help as our generous and supportive community. While Leann is recovering from her illness, traveling in and out of state for doctors' appointments, having surgery, and then recovering she will not be able to work. Her family needs our help financially. Leann has always gone above and beyond to help others, putting others before herself, and doing whatever she can to make life easier for everyone else.
