Hi! I'm creating this private fundraiser to help our dear friend G with some financial assistance as she journeys through a difficult time, the details of which you are all aware.

She needs immediate help with a washing machine repair. I have organised for a qualified techician to visit and the fee is $165 for the first 30 mins and $35 per 15 minutes after that. Any parts that are required are in addition to this cost, so likely total is in the $300-$400 range.

We have also been trying to get her some professional help at Medicare-funded clinics, but the system is overloaded and after 5 weeks she is still waiting for an appointment. We would like to make an appointment at a private clinic so that she can be professionally assessed and advised, and the out-of-pocket expense would be $100 per visit.

We may need to increase the target for this fundraiser based on the results of the above, so will keep you posted as progress is made.

Any excess funds we raise will be donated directly to G for food and other essentials.
