My name is Beth (Bubba). My dearest friend Daniela (Dana) had a medical emergency on Monday 2/12/24. After hours in the ER & countless test it was determined that Daniela had a subarachnoid hemorrhage (brain bleed) She is currently in a Stroke center hospital ICU waiting for insurance to approve more tests.

Daniela is 49 years old. She just lost the love of her life, Jose, 10 months ago. They have been together for 30 years.

Daniela is an “Acts of Service” person. She helps every living being without being asked. From feeding the families in her community to feeding, adopting, rescuing, vetting the neighborhood stray cats/dogs/chickens…to being the best (unpaid) damn tour guide in all of Puerto Rico. There is nothing she won’t do to help. Often without praise or acknowledgment. She is a pay it forward person. The best kind of person to be. She always says: “Don’t worry about it”

Please help me & all the people who know & love Daniela help her for once. Let us pay it forward to her.

After just losing her husband & trying to navigate her life without him, the least we can do as a community/friend/family is take the stress of paying medical bills off her plate.

(PS…For all of you who know Dana (and those that don’t), she’s a very very private person & she will probably disown me for starting this but I’m willing to take the heat to lessen her stress which is critical to her well being)
