A man with THE absolute biggest and most gentle heart has left an irreplaceable hole, not only within his family, but also the community he touched. Steve was passionate about many things to include family, sports and his relationship with the Lord.

Steve hit a home run when he met the love of his life, Mindy, and they combined their families to live life like a 3-2 count. Steve never watched the clock and lived life out loud! Steve's larger than life presence will forever be remembered on baseball fields, wrestling mats, football stadiums and basketball courts that once held his laughter and ability to connect with everyone he came in contact with. Watching athletes compete with passion and heart was one of Steve's favorite pastimes, as he mentored and coached so many young athletes throughout the years.

Steve has passed the baton to his family and friends to continue to love one another, as he so enthusiastically did. In lieu of flowers, the family is making donations to multiple sports organizations that have all become family over the years, to honor our favorite cheerleader and Coach, Steve Marcum.
