We’re reaching out to let you know that we need your assistance to fund my Dad's medical expenses. We have hit a point where we have to create a fundraiser to help pay for my dads medical bills. 2 weeks ago, my Mom and Dad tested positive of coronavirus. A week later my Dad's oxygen level started to drop, so we asked help for him to be taken to the hospital emergency room because his condition is declining. With him being a borderline diabetic and hemiplegic (due to stroke), that is really concerning.
After running some test at the ER they immediately put my Dad on respirator due to a bad pneumonia, and were sedated because he was fighting the machine. Day 4 (still at ER), still being sedated because according to his Doctor he gets agitated once in a while. There is moderate clearing of the pneumonia, but his kidney function is deteriorating so he needs dialysis for now. We're hoping his kidney function will improve which usually does, as per Doc. Right now we are on Day 6, he get extubated, still on respirator but decreasing the support. Still Covid-19 positive, so I guess he will have to be there longer than expected

My parents can’t afford to pay this on their own and my siblings and I are trying to help as much as we can to pay for Dad's medical bill.
