Update*
After months of dedicated training and giving his all, Dad has unfortunately had to make the difficult decision not to run the Jersey Marathon today. Despite his full efforts, his body just isn’t in the right condition to take on the challenge this time.
His health comes first, and we know everyone will completely understand. He’s already set his sights on completing a marathon before the end of the year, and hopes to be back on the Jersey start line next year even stronger.
All existing donations will still go directly to the Milton Keynes Cancer Centre, and we’d still love to encourage anyone who hasn’t yet donated to help him reach his incredible £5,000 target — he’s 10% away!
A heartfelt thank you to every single person who has supported him so far, and who continues to cheer him on in his recovery and towards his next marathon.
Thank you, The Girls ♥️

This October, the day before his 70th birthday, our dad is running the Jersey Marathon to raise £5,000 for the MK Cancer Centre, who supported him throughout his treatment.
He’s promised that whatever the total, he’ll make up the difference himself — so every pound really does count.
The Cancer Centre provides vital care and support for families facing cancer, and this is our way of giving back.
Please donate what you can and cheer him on as he takes on 26.2 miles — every step is for an incredible cause.
