Our Dad needs a Kidney urgently
Donation protected
Hi everyone- our names are Neyleen and Katryna and we’d like to introduce you to our dad. Growing up, he was always the person that you could count on for a laugh, a great story, and an adventure down memory lane. He’s the person that you call when you have a weight on your chest; he always listens without judgement and gives you the best advice (with a few f bombs and creative curse words). To the world, he was funny, kind, and a little off kilter. To us, he’s dad. And the best one we could have asked for.
Our dad was an athlete, almost an iron man. He never drank and never smoked, rarely ate badly, and never got sick. This is why when he had a stroke at 45, we were all shocked. No amount of physical activity and healthy meals could have prevented it; he had the genetic bad hand and it was a losing one. The health troubles didn’t end there. Dad tried to push through, kept living life to the fullest, until his kidneys started failing him. Instead of hiking to the top of a mountain as he’d planned to do this summer, he’s trapped in the confines of his home plugged in to a dialysis machine with a life expectancy of a couple months max (if he doesn’t get a kidney transplant)
We ask that you help us make our dad’s journey a little easier with your help. All proceeds will go directly to his medical expenses. We hope, that with this outreach, we can inspire others to become an organ donor or even find a match for a kidney.
Thank you for loving our Dad we much as we do.
