Our dad, Michael Wh, has just passed away today!
Donation protected
Hi Everyone,
He was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) on his birthday, May 23, 2018. He has inspired many people in the community and around the world through entertainment. Many of you have had personal conversations with him and danced to his music.
ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) is a disease that deteriorates the muscles due to the deterioration of the coating around the neural cell. ALS is treacherous, robbing its victims of the ability to walk, talk, eat, swallow, dress themselves, and ultimately breathe. Our dad has literally had to go through really tough times, while still trying to be strong for us.
ALS has no cure and no effective treatment. The average lifespan from diagnosis is up to three years, but our dad didn’t make it that long. We were unable to get life insurance once he was diagnosed with this terminal illness.
He has just passed away today and we wouldn’t wish this disease on anyone.
For those of you who are able to donate and help us face this last obstacle, we will be deeply grateful. Your contributions are helping with burial/funeral costs Please support us!
