On Saturday, September 13th, 2025, while at work, our dad had a serious accident. He was removing a tree from a yard when, despite taking all the proper precautions, part of the tree unexpectedly rolled and crushed his right leg, causing an open fracture in both the tibia and fibula. Thankfully, our brother Arturo was with him and was able to call for help right away. Because of the severity of his injuries, he had to be transported by helicopter to Northeast Georgia Medical Center, where he underwent emergency surgery and stayed for 5 days.

Our dad is an incredibly hardworking man who has always done everything in his power to provide for our family. He’s the type of person who is always ready to lend a helping hand, but never one to ask for help himself. Now, during this difficult time, we as a family are doing everything we can to support him emotionally, mentally, physically, and financially.

Because of the severity of his injuries, he will be unable to work for several months. Unfortunately, he doesn’t have health insurance, and with the slower work season approaching, we are asking for donations to help cover essential expenses such as:

• Medical costs (medications, follow-up appointments, physical therapy)

• Rent and utilities

• Groceries

• Gas for trips to and from medical appointments

Any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference and help relieve the financial stress so our dad can focus on healing. If you’re unable to donate, we kindly ask that you keep him in your prayers and share this fundraiser with others.

El sábado 13 de septiembre de 2025, mientras estaba en el trabajo, nuestro papá tuvo un grave accidente. Estaba quitando un árbol de un patio cuando, a pesar de tomar todas las precauciones adecuadas, parte del árbol rodó inesperadamente y aplastó su pierna derecha, causando una fractura abierta tanto en la tibia como en el peroné. Afortunadamente, nuestro hermano Arturo estaba con él y pudo pedir ayuda de inmediato. Debido a la gravedad de sus lesiones, tuvo que ser transportado en helicóptero al Centro Médico del Noreste de Georgia, donde se sometió a una cirugía de emergencia y permaneció durante 5 días.

Nuestro papá es un hombre increíblemente trabajador que siempre ha hecho todo lo que está a su alcance para apoyar a nuestra familia. Es el tipo de persona que siempre está dispuesta a echar una mano, pero nunca a pedir ayuda. Ahora, durante este momento difícil, nosotros como familia estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarlo emocional, mental, física y financieramente.

Debido a la gravedad de sus lesiones, no podrá trabajar durante varios meses. Desafortunadamente, no tiene seguro médico, y con la temporada de trabajo lenta acercándose, estamos pidiendo donaciones para ayudar a cubrir gastos esenciales como:

• Gastos médicos (medicamentos, citas de seguimiento, fisioterapia)

• renta y facturas mensual

• Comestibles

• Gasolina para viajes de ida y vuelta a las citas médicas
