The Riptides, Jr team, from Tsunami Cheer and Tumble has received a bid to the D2 Summit on March 6, 2022. The question is, what does that mean? Getting a bid to the D2 Summit is the ultimate goal all teams, “in competitive cheer” are challenged to reach each year. These teams practice hard, challenge themselves to reach their goals, and be team players! An At Large bid is only awarded to the top 3 in an eligible division, which is such an honor to receive! Our team has received this bid and now they are on a journey to the D2 SUMMIT in Orlando, Florida, May 6-8, 2022, which is held at Walt Disney World Resort. We are a not-for-profit All-star cheer gym which is located in Crescent City, a small rural town, in northern California along the coast. We need to reach $16,000 to reach this ultimate goal for these girls. This fundraiser is going to cover the costs of airfare, hotel, competition fees, and food.
