Our continued trip to Disney

My name is Samantha, Stanley and Heathers eldest daughter. I have created this in hopes to still fulfill the plans we as a family already had set in place.

The beginning of December we as a family decided to plan a family vacation to Disney. The plane tickets were paid for already, and the deposit in place for the parks. We were all so excited to have this time together as a family come this June. As Christmas came closer all of that took a turn. My father became sick and needed to go to the ER, yet it all escalated so quickly. 8 days later we lost our dearest Stanley. An amazing husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.

Days before his passing, and hours after he passed my mom mentioned she still wants to go to Disney. She needs something to look forward to, and she wants to have this time with her family like we had planned. Over the last 72 hours I’ve been jumping over the hurdles to help my mother get things done, yet I realized we have a Disney trip in Stan’s name we need to modify, pay for and continue to plan for. She even got them all matching Disney suit cases that just came in the mail. This is my mother’s, Tanner’s, and Oceana’s first time going to Disney. My mother told tanner on accident when the Disney suit cases came in the mail, but it’s still a surprise for Oceana. The trip was supposed to be told on Easter Day. Tanner has been excited about our trip, we have been talking about it to keep our minds focused on something. I created this go fund me in hopes to release the financial stress on my mother. Anything will help, I just didn’t want my mother having to worry about money right now when it came to this.

lastly, I wanted to thank you all for the love and support. It truly has been so helpful and comforting in knowing we are not alone through this dark time. We’ve been going through the waves, and knowing we have a village has been absolutely a blessing in our lives. Thank you. May God all bless you forever and more.
