Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. On behalf of my mother in-law Akiiki, my wife Doreen and family, I humbly reach out to share Akiiki’s story and seek your support in her courageous battle against Lung Cancer. Akiiki is a 61 year-old retired midwife nurse who had visited her daughter Joan in Toronto Canada and unfortunately, got the devastating cancer news.
Akiiki dedicated her life to caring for others, bringing life and hope to countless families throughout her 40-year career, helping deliver over 1000 babies as a midwife in Uganda. Today, she is undergoing chemotherapy treatments to fight cancer. However, the financial burden of her medical bills is overwhelming to her and the family.
Your generous donations will contribute towards her medical bills and other related expenses, even a small contribution will make a significant impact in the best possible care. We have set a realistic fundraising goal of $120,000, which will go towards alleviating the financial burden.
We understand that times can be challenging for many, kindly please find it in your hearts to support Akiiki, know that your generosity will be deeply appreciated. As a token of our gratitude, we will be sending personalized thank-you notes to all donors, along with regular updates on Akiiki’s progress, so you can witness firsthand impact of your contribution.
Sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and wider network will go a long way in helping us reach our goal. Together, we can rally around Akiiki and show her the strength of our community.
Your support is an invaluable gift in Akiiki’s life.
On behalf of Akiiki and her family, we extend our sincerest gratitude for considering this heartfelt appeal. Let us stand together in providing hope, strength to Akiiki and family.
With warm regards,
