A Note from Ed - His Story
I went into the hospital in early January and then spent four months in a nursing home. I got out about the third of May. Six days later, I was back in the emergency room. Last Thursday, they diagnosed that I had an infection in my bone. They determined that it was inoperable at my age. I am home now and in hospice, which provides nursing care three times a week and the medication I need to live comfortably the rest of my life. However, I'm desperately in need of help during the rest of the time. My daughter has been trying to be up here from her job in Danville on weekends, but I need help during the week. I need visitors, people who might help me out in various ways to make me comfortable. I'm also very concerned about the debt that I've incurred developing and putting on the concerts over the years. I'm in need of some financial assistance both for continuing care at home and to pay off some of the debt incurred over the years operating Claire’s Claim. With help, I'm hoping to put on a couple of concerts as well to help raise funds to cover these costs. Please donate to my fund and help me reach my goal.
Thank you,
Ed
