Donate to help our colleague, Awais Butt

Many of you will know Awais from our Campus Security team, he is a friendly face and always takes the time to greet everyone he meets. Unfortunately he was recently taken ill and his family & friends have created this page to support his recovery. Please see below a message from his wife.

"On Monday 26th January, Awais was unexpectedly rushed to A&E. This incident has left the whole family in complete shock and sadness, and the suddenness has left us all overwhelmed emotionally. We have four young children who are trying to come to terms with their father being in ICU and the uncertainty of his illness is especially hard on them.

Awais has always been the heart and the rock of our family, and everywhere he went, he brought a smile to people's faces. He is now in a stable but critical condition in the ICU, where he is unable to move or communicate. As he fights for his life, we are left to try and make sense of the situation whilst navigating our deep fear and uncertainty.

Awais is the kind of person who is very selfless. He's always ready to help anyone and would go beyond his needs to be available in the most possible way. He is adored by everyone around him, and he would really appreciate everyone pulling together and helping him through his time of need.

Please keep him in your prayers so that he makes a speedy recovery."
