My name is Lauren and unfortunately one of my sisters furbabies was struck by a car Monday night. As everyone knows, my sister and Cid frequent timber creek dog park almost everyday with his cousin

Hartlee & brother Kuja. Cid is a happy, silly Aussie who loves to run free.

Currently he is in stable condition, but has suffered a lumbar fracture that supports his back legs and at the moment can’t walk on his own . We are hoping for a full recovery and very hopeful. Both us and the doctors don’t know what the future holds for him and it’s going to be a day by day situation but he’s going to need 24 hour monitoring the next several weeks. He’s currently still in the hospital and will continue until we are able to prepare him with at home care. If anyone knows my sisters she loves her pups more than anything. She’s a flight attendant so won’t be able to care for him most days. She luckily has insurance but she has already surpassed her limit and is most likely going to need physical therapy later down the road. Its gonna be a long road to recovery. We hate asking for help but everyone knows how expensive pet bills can be but we want the best help for our Ciddyboy!
