Our children are starving in Gaza

•Please note: The amount displayed is in Swedish Krona, where 10 SEK equals 1 USD — meaning the goal is to raise 100,000 USD. Sadly, due to high transfer fees and liquidity charges, the actual amount we receive here in Gaza is only around 55,000 USD. This significant loss deeply affects our ability to meet urgent needs, and we appreciate your understanding and support more than words can express.

Hello,
I am Khader, a Palestinian man from Gaza, living in AL sabra neighborhood. I've lived through all the wars in Gaza, with the most devastating one being the recent war (2023-2024), which claimed the lives of many of my relatives, friends, and neighbors. These heartbreaking images are of my family members after a massacre in Al-Ahli hospital.

I survived, along with my children, by a miracle.
However, the pain I want to share is not being able to restart my business, which was my main source of income before the war. I had a mini-market and two of my close friends, Adam and Mohamed, worked there in shifts. We all have families to support, and my capital was tied up in the mini-market.

None of us own homes.
I’m currently staying with a friend, and my colleagues, Adam and Mohamed, are living in shelters. This video shows my friend’s living conditions in his tent with his children. We are now struggling with a lack of income.
You may wonder what happened to the mini-market that caused our financial loss.
To be honest, my mini-market was large and well-stocked, serving the entire neighborhood. However, a few months into the war, the area became too dangerous, and we lost some stock due to theft. I could barely visit my mini-market to retrieve goods, risking my life to sell them and feed my children and my friends' children.

With the rising food prices, we ended up selling everything, leaving us without a business or income.

In addition, the mini-market had a car for transporting goods, but it was severely damaged during the war. We had to sell it for a very low price because we had no money left, especially with the extremely high food prices at that time.
What we hope for now is to gather part of our capital to restart our business and support ourselves and our children.

I’ve kept my story brief to avoid taking too much of your time.
We are agrieving people, burdened by sorrow and loss. Anyone who can help, we ask not to hesitate in supporting us. We and our children are deeply grateful for any assistance.

Unfortunately, the price of baby diapers and formula now exceeds $50.
Thank you so much.
