Our cat Mochi needs your help!
Hi everyone,
Our cat, Mochi, has been battling a mysterious illness since we adopted him in April. He tested positive for Calicivirus at the time and has been struggling with constant sneezing and eye discharge ever since.
Recently, his condition has worsened, with painful scabs, hair loss, and redness developing around his ears, neck and body, he would scratch himself nonstop.
During this 5 month period, Mochi also developed a entropion, a condition where his eyelid rolls inward, causing his fur and lashes to rub against his cornea. This condition is causing him constant discomfort and could lead to serious complications if left without surgery to correct it.
He was also most of the time on antibiotics for an ear infection and a recurring bacteria infection, we really don't know what's going on with him, even after many vet visits and we're desperate to find out and be able to make his life so so much better. Despite numerous vet visits and treatments, we haven't been able to pinpoint the exact cause of his suffering.
We've already spent over $9500 in vet bills, but Mochi's health is not improving. We're now seeking specialized care, as our family vet recommended, from an internal medicine specialist, which will incur significant additional costs, that we don't know if we can afford.
The ongoing costs have become overwhelming, and we're at a point where we need additional support to continue pursuing the best care for Mochi.
We consider him as a family member. We're desperate to provide him with the care he needs to recover.

Hello everyone,
We want to share and be transparent about Moch's veterinarian bills, hence our goal for this fundraising.
In total so far, Mochi's medical bills have been around 9.5k. His CT scan alone on Tuesday was around 4k.
Your kindness and generosity mean the world to us during this difficult time, we'll keep you updated about his biopsies result, that we should get in 2-3 weeks.
