Our Butterfly Katie
“It is with a very heavy heart and complete devastation that i need to share that our little warrior Katie lost her battle for life earlier today....she fought right to the end! Our hearts are broken“
The words from a Mother who has just lost her 24 year old daughter to Cystic Fibrosis, a lifelong condition she had suffered from.
Katie was such a selfless person, putting others first before considering herself. She raised a lot of money for charity and in particular the Butterfly Trust, a Cystic Fibrosis charity.
In this moment I would like to offer the same support, but specifically to the ones she has left behind. Money isn’t everything and I’m sure the family and the thousands of people who knew Katie, would give everything to have her back but anything you can give to support her family in this trying time would be gratefully appreciated.
