Our buddy Cooper went for his wellness check less than 2 months ago, and all was normal minus some tearing in his right eye. Later we came to find out he has an aggressive cancer, osteosarcoma, in his face that is affecting his jaw, right eye and nose. We had to rush home from a trip in Arizona when he needed emergency veterinarian treatment for his bloody noses.

Many of you who are reading this know our world revolves around our dogs, they’re like our children. So we are completely devastated at the thought of losing our boy at the age of 5. Our vet brought up options for humane palliative radiation to give him more time with us. There is no cure but more than one radiation oncologist feels Cooper can live comfortably and a little longer. Our goal is to have Cooper at our wedding in October. He will be Gregg’s “best dog” and wear his tuxedo vest.

The bills for diagnostics, medications and now radiation are piling up. We are looking for some help to keep Cooper comfortable. He has perked up with pain medication, and seeing him run, eat and wag his tail makes it worth every penny spent.

Any donation, no matter how small, will help us continue his comfort medications and palliative radiation. It’s hard asking for help, but how could we not exhaust every possibility for our Cooper. Thank you for reading ❤️
