Our buddy Marc Lawrence

Hello friends of Marc Lawrence.

This is Beau Dancy trying to raise funds for our old friend Marc.

Marc has fallen upon some hard times.

He was recently evicted from his residence.

Had a fall and went to the hospital and rehab afterwards. Marc knows alcohol has caused many of these issues and understands that if he wants to live he has to quit drinking.

Several of us have been looking after Marc and have got him accepted as a full time residence in independent living at Heritage Woods in WS.

Fortunately Marc’s Social Security will cover his stay which includes 3 meals a day.

Heritage Woods also has an Alcohol Counselor who will work with Marc to remain sober.

Heritage Woods is requiring a one time $2,500 community fee to move in.

I am covering that in the interim for Marc.

In addition the first months rent in advance is due - $2,075.

There are other financial needs for Marc as he needs additional clothing, sheets and towels, toiletries,etc. He will need a microwave along with a TV set as well. A Good Samaritan is donating a bed and some furniture.

So we are trying to raise $5,000 to go towards Marc’s needs.

Marc is aware of what we are doing for him and is very appreciative.

He is looking and acting so much better in the last several weeks.

As you all know Marc is a great guy with a kind heart.
