Thanks to his supporters, John Boy was fortunate to buy his next home. He is comfortable and happy. He would love to see you all for a visit at his new home.
FUNDS FOR JOHN BOY
( AKA Hank Hill )
Many of you may recognize the small Cabin on the banks of the Elk River at Little Sycamore. It burned to the ground and John Boy has lost everything, including one of his beloved dogs, Duke.
This has been his home for the last 12 years. It covers several acres, all of which he has cleared by hand to turn into what he fondly calls his " Goose Creek Resort, Lodge and Wildlife center." Many know this as THE place to come for camping, fishing and camaraderie on the beautiful Elk.
John Boy welcomed all, give him a little money, or not, you were welcome there.
He suffers from PTSD, COPD, has vascular bleeding on the brain, vascular dementia, and has had a Quadruple by-pass. When asked what his treatments were he said, "medication and THIS PLACE, my Goose Creek, the place I want to spend my end years"
We are asking for contributions to make him whole again, to purchase materials to rebuild his small cabin( we have volunteers to rebuild) replace a generator, ( he lives off the grid, no power) provide furnishing essentials, and other necessities.
You can donate to the Go-Fund-Me link below, or mail your contribution to:
