Bennett’s Update – June 26, 2025
Dear friends and family,
We’re writing today with a tender heart and a clearer picture of what’s ahead for our sweet Bennett.
We’ve received the biopsy results, and Bennett has been diagnosed with non-metastatic hepatoblastoma, PRETEXT 4. While this is a serious diagnosis, we are holding on to hope: it has a high survival rate, and we’re trusting deeply in Bennett’s strength, the skill of his doctors, and the power of prayer.
Tomorrow morning, Bennett will begin his first round of chemotherapy. He will receive 12 weeks of chemo (two medications), once a week, and will need to stay overnight for each treatment. After those 12 weeks, doctors will perform another scan. If the tumor shrinks enough, surgery will be the next step. If not, he will undergo another round of chemo followed by a liver transplant.
Our oncologist feels that a liver transplant will most likely be necessary. After surgery—or transplant—Bennett will do another round of chemotherapy to ensure all cancer cells are gone. The hope and goal is for him to come through this and live a long, healthy, cancer-free life.
There’s no easy way to walk through this, but we know we’re not walking it alone. Bennett is the bravest little boy and has already shown us what true courage looks like. We are devastated, hopeful, exhausted, and full of faith—all at once.
Many of you have asked how you can help. First and foremost, we ask for your prayers—pray boldly for complete healing, for peace in Bennett’s heart, for strength in our family, and for wisdom and grace for his medical team.
If you feel led, we are also open to donations to help us through this time—covering travel, overnight stays, time away from work, and Bennett’s ongoing care. We are so grateful for your support in every form. Venmo and Zelle are accepted as well : my Venmo is @natalialouisestudio for Zelle : my number is 406-890-3042
Thank you for loving our family and standing with us during this difficult season. Your messages, prayers, and encouragement have lifted us in ways we can’t even put into words.
With all our hearts,
The Cary Family

do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
