We are writing on behalf of our sister, Simone. Also known by many as DJ Bratt. Simone has been courageously fighting to get back to good health this past year after receiving a formidable diagnosis. She is healing and making great progress while she continues her many treatments. We feel that now is a crucial time for us all to rally around her with any support that we are able. Throughout her journey, she has maintained employment both out of good conscience and financial need. To help her get over this final hurdle in her battle towards wellness, we want her to take some much-needed time off from work to focus on herself and allow herself to release all of the stress that comes with these responsibilities. As many of us come together in any way that we can, the result will be immeasurable in both tangible and unobservable ways. We know without a doubt that Simone's spirit will get a huge boost knowing she's cared for by so many. If you know her, you already know that she isn't the type of person to complain or ask for help. We are in awe of her strength, determination, and grace throughout this journey. It hasn't been easy, to say the least. Additionally, you all know the kind and caring person Simone has always been. Whether for a holiday meal, a place to rest and change course, some encouraging words, or an ear....she gives. She always gives. While her family and friends have been by her side to support her with finances and other essential needs, we need to turn to her loving community as we bring her back to her full and vigorous self. We are grateful to you all! No amount is too small, we appreciate anything you can do. Please share if you are so inclined
