Hi, my name is Anna and I’m a dog mum of Ozzy and Cooper, my two beautiful show cocker spaniels that I love beyond measure. These boys are my world. As I write this, I have tears streaming down my cheeks because our bestest boy Ozzy, 4 years old, has been diagnosed with severe discospondylitis. This infection of the intervertebral disc means that bacteria in his spine has literally eaten one of his discs and will continue to spread if not stopped. These changes are now blocking the nerves causing Ozzy pain and discomfort mainly in his left leg, back as well as hips. Ozzy’s orthopaedist has informed us that he needs a very specific but expensive surgery as antibiotics alone won’t help (he will be on them for months after the surgery). The operation requires Pedicle Screw Fixation System and a 3D model of his disc/bone to replace what has been damaged by the bacteria. His lifetime insurance, despite being a very good one, simply won’t be enough to fully cover the cost of the op not to mention the aftercare.

I have never asked for any financial help in my life but please if you can donate even a single penny for Ozzy, it would mean a world to us ❤️ We simply want our boy to have a happy, pain free life ahead of him and being back to his normal, ball obsessed self.
