PLEASE READ UPDATE BELOW
Our friend Colten Brown contracted COVID-19 on 12/13/20 and his condition worsened to the point he had to be taken to the emergency room in Erie, PA the following Saturday.
The doctors did their best to improve his condition while he was conscious but sadly his conditioned worsened to the point where he had to be placed in a chemically induced coma. The doctors had him on a ventilator and he was making strides to recovery out of the ICU but sadly it looks as though his condition has taken a turn south and he was flown via helicopter to Pittsburgh to further his treatment.  Today (12/23/2020) he has been put on an ECMO machine to give his heart and lungs a break from the ventilator and to give him a chance to heal. He will be in the ICU and isolated to the hospital two hours from his home and family until he is cleared to walk out of the hospital which we are hoping and praying will be soon!! Our boy has a long tough road ahead of him but we are all pulling for him and this is a place to collect donations for his family. We are hoping they do not have to worry about hospital bills, after treatment care, his rent, or anything else that may arise financially while he is taking care of getting better and his family is taking care of him.

UPDATE: Colten passed away from complications due to COVID...he lost the fight after a severe brain bleed and a powerful stroke and multiple other complications from being on so many machines. He will be missed by more people than he could imagine. He created friends from total strangers and true family from his closest friends...All the money will be heading to his family to help take care of them as best as possible without him here... Love your friends and family and cherish every memory with them..just the way he would have wanted...
