Hi, my name is May :)

I’m a 22-year-old college student working full-time, living far from family, and doing my best to manage life and my mental health. Through all of it, my greatest support has been my dog, Vader-Dexter — a goofy, loyal, loving 1-year-old German Shepherd who truly keeps me going.

Vader has been with me through multiple moves, tough days, and countless challenges. He’s more than just a dog — he’s my best friend, my comfort, and often, the only reason I get out of bed.

Unfortunately, Vader has been struggling with worsening health issues. What started as minor GI problems has become serious — he can’t keep food, water, or medicine down, and he’s rapidly losing weight. We’ve done everything we can afford, but now he needs more tests to reach a diagnosis. His vets suspect it could be Addison’s Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, or Protein-losing Enteropathy.

The bills are growing quickly, and I’m at a point where I need to ask for help. I’m raising funds to cover his current and upcoming vet costs so we can find answers and get him back to health. Even a share means the world.

Vader is family. He’s helped me more than I could ever put into words — now I’m just trying to do the same for him.
