Our beloved Mother, Yelena Stankevicius (Moroz) recently passed on Monday, May 17, 2021. Yelena was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who touched the lives of those around her. She leaves behind her husband Kastus Stankevicius, daughter Marina Yavalar, son Ruslan Moroz, daughter Margarita Moroz, daughter Yelena Lyons, and son Richard Moroz. In addition, her ex-husband Alexandr Moroz (the father of all of her five (5) children, 12 grandchildren and extended family.

Yelena dedicated her life to move to the United States in her late 20’s with her husband Alexandr at that time for a better-quality life. Yelena was a very loving person, and a wonderful mother. She was a hard worker, enjoyed being outside in the nature, picking wild mushrooms and gardening as her hobbies. She was truly a loving person to be around.

We are all devastated by our mother’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give our mother the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of our mother’s funeral and Medical expenses. We need to raise $15,000 in order to be able to afford the funeral service.

The funeral Services will be held at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823 on Friday May 21st at 9am. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery, Lunch will follow at Russian Baptist Church in State College, PA.
