Our beloved Subaru Outback needs a new engine

Hi, my name is Yae, bassist Bob Bowman's wife.

We are from Montana and are on Bob's tour in the Midwest now. We travel with his double bass and our dog Budsie. When we travel, we drive. Many of our friends know that our cars have many miles also many repairs. To keep our 2007 Subaru Outback running, we put some money so we could drive from Montana to the Midwest and come back. In the middle of September, the car started to act up, so we took it to a car shop. According to the mechanic, the Subaru needs a new engine. To get a used engine in good condition plus labor, we will need about $5,900. We don't expect this GoFundMe will cover the cost, but any help will help us.
