Our beloved son, Jason Timothy Willis

~~UPDATE~~ Thanks to the generosity of so many kind people, Jason's cremation & related expenses have been paid. The shipping of his things and removal of trash from his home has been paid. I am working on booking his service at NH State Veterans Cemetary in the spring and trying to book flights for us. Then I have to find a reliable, trustworthy and reasonably priced pet sitter who knows dogs as well as reptiles.
Hello, my name is Tina Haynes. It is with great sorrow that I let you all know that I received the news that my youngest son Jason Willis has passed away. Jason was such a sweet kid. He loved cats so much. He had 2 Bengal cats, Alladin & Rey. He also loved children and hoped to have a family of his own someday. He had a fantastic sense of humor and was always cracking jokes & making people laugh. He loved video games and had a loyal group of friends that he's been playing with for over 16 years. He was a former US Army Soldier and served overseas. He was loved by everyone and had a large group of friends. But Jason also had PTSD and was a troubled man. He fought hard but like too many who served he lost his battle with PTSD and he sadly took his own life. We are all beyond devastated by his passing. I haven't seen him since he moved to Texas 7 years ago. I can't believe that I'll never see him again. I just can't. My brain can't believe it. But I'm crying so my heart certainly does. I have to go 1,800 miles to El Paso, Texas to pack his belongings and ship them to my home. Then I need to take care of his affairs. I also need to have him cremated. These things cost money that we don't have at the moment. I'm on disability and my husband is just now getting back to work after being out for a while. Every little bit will help on this very difficult journey. I have no idea how I am going to get through sorting thru his belongings. Touching his things. Seeing his home for the first time was supposed to be with him by my side excitedly showing me every little thing he's been telling me about for months. Not with my oldest son who is also flying in from another state to help me, both of us crying the whole time. We're not supposed to be doing this!
