Hi, we are Anthony and Maria, and we are raising funds to support payment for recent animal medical expenses.

One month ago, our rescue dog Rosie started going through pain and health issues, to the point where she stopped walking and would collapse on the floor. This past Monday, November 6th, we connected with a vet neurologist who finally figured out the source of her pain. She had a ruptured disc on her neck and that was creating excruciating pain and loss of function in her limbs. She had lost her bark, her appetite, and her love for life. Rosie underwent more testing and spinal surgery on Tuesday Nov 7. It all seemed positive and we were already discussing rehab and post op care. On Nov 8th, we got a call from the clinic that Rosie was in critical condition. Her heart was failing, CPR didn’t work and she was unable to breathe on her own. After fighting until the last moment, we decided to let her go peacefully. We gave her the best nine years as her rescue parents. She will live in our hearts forever.

We never anticipated we would encounter such medical costs and the overwhelming pain and stress that this sudden turn of events would cause. We are fundraising to help with our medical expenses.
