Our Beloved Nick Ashworth Needs Our Help

Our beloved Nick Ashworth was in a serious motorcycle accident on Saturday night (4/13). Thankfully his helmet spared him from any major head trauma, but he has suffered a complete T6/T7 break in his thoracic vertebrae, as well as a badly severed spinal cord. He currently has no feeling in his legs and the doctors have mentally prepared us for the worst - but we remain hopeful. Those of you that know Nick, know that he’s as strong and determined as they come. He has so much life in him, and has the biggest heart imaginable. We’re all so thankful that he is alive, and there is so much more life to live. ❤️

He’s scheduled to go into surgery with a team of world-class neurosurgeons, and is facing a 12+ hr complex surgery to realign his vertebrae. It’s going to be a long and challenging road ahead. He is going to be faced with intensive rehab, and will be learning how to adjust to life in a wheelchair. As you can imagine, this is going to be an expensive endeavor. Nick and his family need every bit of help they can get in the coming months to cover medical costs, rehab, and home improvements to make his house and living situation accessible. Nick has been a shining light in so many peoples lives, and needs all our love in this difficult time. Thank you all for your love, support, and generosity.
