Our beloved mother Dexa Franks

Donation protected
Age 71, Dexa peacefully entered her heavenly home on January 28th, 2024. She leaves behind her adoring daughters Deedee Franks and Lisa Humble, son in law Adam and grandchildren Mariah, Eliana, Jayla; extended family and many friends.

Dexa was full of life, a true joy and inspiration to everyone she met. She dedicated her life of serving others in the food and beverage industry, retiring from her career as a Cheese Specialist at Kowalski's Market, a job in which she took great pride and created an amazing community of friends. It's hard to say what people most enjoyed about her when they stopped by her section of the market, whether a joke to make you smile, a exchange in recipes, a product recommendation or a moment to share stores of life and family. She had a gift to connect with people and will be missed in innumerable ways.

A Celebration of Dexa's life will be held on Sunday, February 18th at 1PM, with visitation beginning one hour prior at Kozlak-Radulovich Blaine Chapel, 1385 107th Avenue. Please join us at Majestic Oaks from 2-5 for cocktails and appetizers to continue to celebrate as she requested with laughter, memories and joke telling of all kinds.
