We are looking for support our beloved Mia Gallant

My name is Alisha and I am a close friend of Krystle, Mia and the family.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this out on behalf of Krystle, her family and loved ones…

Last week Mia Gallant was taken to the ICU in Calgary in life threatening conditions after an unfortunate drug overdose.

Mia has fought very hard these past few days… she was taken off life support at 10 yesterday and unfortunately lost her life around 11:30 pm last night.

Mia, who had just recently turned 18, was a bright light in anyone’s life who knew her. She was known for her sense of humour and charismatic, playful personality. She lit up any room that she walked into. She had an amazingly big heart and loved her family dearly. Words can not express how deeply she will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother Krystle, and brothers Damien and Brody, sister Nikita Gallant and her father Claude. All of whom are devastated by this heartbreaking loss.

We are aiming at raising 15 000, to cover funeral and service fees and any other unexpected expenses that may arise in this already tough time. Anything at all helps and is grateful appreciated.

Family will be posting funeral dates for the celebration of life.
