Many of you will have already heard the heart-breaking news of the sudden loss of Keith, affectionately known to so many as "Bin".
A true Brixham character, Keith was one of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever hope to meet. He was a beloved father, son, brother, family member and friend, and his passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew him.
Sadly, after so much loss within our community in recent times, Keith's family now find themselves facing the unimaginable task of arranging his funeral whilst coming to terms with their grief. Before the funeral can be arranged though, the unimaginable task of getting Keith flown home from Spain needs to be arranged. As friends will know, Keith went over with a view to escorting his elderly mum back to the UK for a long term visit. The family are now reaching out to the people of Brixham and beyond to help get Keith home where he belongs and then give him the send-off he truly deserves.
Keith was generous to his core. He was always there for others, offering friendship, support, and kindness without ever expecting anything in return. He shared in the heartbreak of losing close friends in our community this year, making it feel especially cruel that we are now saying goodbye to him too.
If you are able to donate, no matter how small the amount, it will be deeply appreciated by Keith's family. Every contribution will help relieve some of the financial pressure and ensure Keith receives the farewell worthy of the wonderful man he was.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser far and wide. Keith made friends wherever he went, and his loss will be felt by many. Together, as a community, we can help honour his memory and support the family he loved so dearly.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this incredibly difficult time.
Rest peacefully, Keith ("Bin"). You will never be forgotten. ❤️
Funeral details to be announced in due course.
