Our beloved Juan Carlos Quinones Gomez

My name is Karla Ortiz and I am Carlos' older sister. I will be receiving all funds from this fundraiser and they will go towards Carlos’ funeral. Funds above and beyond the cost of funeral expenses will go towards legal fees incurred with his estate.

On September 6, 2022, the world lost a beloved son, youngest brother, devoted uncle and loyal friend, Juan Carlos Quinones Gomez.

A Reynolds High School graduate and lifelong resident in the Gresham area, Carlos was known to everyone that crossed his path as the friend you could call on whenever you needed help. What made Carlos extra special was that he always did so with a smile and could always find a way to make you laugh when you needed it. And now, we ask anyone who he helped or who’s life he touched to help honor him.

Carlos, at the young age of 33, passed away unexpectedly just one year after opening Gresham Automotive Services. Opening up this shop was one of his lifelong dreams that he always talked about. He invested all of his time, effort and finances into making this dream a reality. At no point, during this time in his life, did it occur to him that he should plan for funeral expenses, as he was working countless hours on a new, promising chapter of his life. His love for cars was unmatched. ❤️

Now, our family is challenged with one of the hardest things we will ever face, laying Carlos to rest. As everyone agrees, Carlos deserves a proper burial and the family needs your help to ease this large financial burden as we all embark upon this difficult task. We hope that you will help as you can, any donation to this cause helps and if you cannot donate, we ask that you help share this request so we can reach as many of his friends and family as possible.
