In Aaron's own words:

"I recently had a 6 month cancer check-up, and yesterday I was told that the brain tumor has returned.  It has grown from nothing to about 3 cm (about an inch) in less than 6 months, so it is very aggressive.  I feel fine and I was expecting a clean MRI, so I was very surprised by this news!  My Neuro-Oncologist wants to start me on chemo treatments ASAP, so I will begin chemo treatments very soon.  The doctor said that I should be able to keep working through much of the process, but the process will require additional time off for appointments and such, and I will probably end up taking a leave of absence at some point (when I have surgery or I can’t keep up)."

The funds raised here will  help cover some of Aaron's costs related to treatments and surgery and offset the salary reduction when he goes on leave.
