Our beloved Father Wayne Wheatley
Donation protected
It's with heavy heart that this Go Fund Me page is set up for the Wheatley Boys after a very short terminal illness for their beloved Dad, Wayne Wheatley.
Wayne, felt unwell two weeks ago and within a week he was advised he had an untreatable terminal cancer. His cancer had spread and he was not even well enough to spend his final days in a hospice. He passed away four days after diagnosis in hospital on the 13/7/24.
Wayne was a much loved, known member of the Bracknell community.
A lot of people will remember him from the days when FC Bracknell was founded. He then used his learnt football skills to become a manager of FC Bracknell from 2004 for many years and succeeded as Vice Chairman.
He worked on the buses at Bracknell as a bus driver, then moved onto working as an inspector to Operations Manager from 1999 to 2015.
His final career he worked for Radio cars as a Taxi driver, until a couple of weeks before his untimely death.
He was Captain for a local darts team at the Cannie Man Public house, they were in the first division. He enjoyed playing along with his youngest son Ryan.
Wayne was one of the nicest blokes you could ever meet. Also a true family man and had a big love for Chelsea Football Club.
Wayne also co-parented Ryan with his ex wife Wendy. Ryan especially will miss his Dad, who did all the Dad bits with him and helped Ryan with his daily struggles as a man living with Autism and ADHD.
Wayne had no life Insurance or Funeral plans, the Family are now panicking, with the unknown how they will raise funds to give Wayne the final resting that he deserves to have.
This Go Fund Me page has the blessing of Wayne’s son’s, Noel, Jordan and Ryan. I am sure, like me, you have been left numb by what has happened.
I want to help. What can I do?
Well, what we can do is raise as much money as possible for the Wheatley Boys.
On the back of the sudden death. I know Wayne would so dearly love his boys to be able to give their Dad a funeral without any financial worries.
Of course, during these devastating times life continues.
If we can relieve any stress for the Wheatley’s boys, then why wouldn't we all do so?
This is a special family that has been left heartbroken. Please give anything you can to show them just how much we care and love them.
I have managed Go Fund Me pages before and I can't emphasise enough that every penny counts.
Thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read and donate to help this Family in need of your help.
