Our BELOVED father, Denny Meng
Sroy “Denny” Meng was a kind, loving, hard-working and honorable man who spent his life in service to others.
After growing up in Cambodia during a genocide, he persevered through poverty, famine, and inhumane living conditions in order to seek a better life. He worked tirelessly to start his own business, buy a home, and provide for his family. He suffered through so much, but he continually fought through each challenge in order to ensure that his loved ones would live a life filled with happiness, contentment, and unconditional love.
I’m devastated to share that our father was hospitalized with Covid-19 while residing in a nursing home as a surviving stroke patient since 2016. He battled his way through Covid and survived after 3 weeks. Though, for almost 2 long months, his body was finally taking a toll on him from all the treatments being done to get him well again.
He was definitely a fighter, and we all knew how strong he was. We all prepared ourselves for what’s to come to say our goodbyes as we were given news of our father passing from pneumonia.
Sroy is survived by his wife, four children, and 2 grandchildren. He was always so selfless and always put his family first.
I understand times are hard for many, but if you have the means to donate or spread the word by sharing this post, please help us out. Please help us give him the memorial service that he deserves.
WE WILL ALSO HAVE OUR FATHER’S 7DAY BOUN AT THE TEMPLE THIS SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20th @9:30AM
