Passing of beloved Dad & Husband, John Williamson

Hi friends and family,

We have been asked how our family and friends can support us in the process of grieving the sudden loss of our beloved and amazing father and husband, John Williamson. He leaves behind his wife of 40 years Melinda Williamson, and his three children Riley Cash, Kelsey Cole, and Lexi Capri. We all love him so much and this unexpected loss is devastating and has impacted us greatly. There is now a need of assistance with the mounting costs associated with his sudden departure and how we move forward as a family.

John just turned 69 on Monday, Sept. 11th. He spent time with his son Riley for dinner on Riley's birthday on Friday, Sept 15th. He was set to travel with Melinda out of country to visit his daughters Kelsey and Lexi a few days after, but an indescribable tragedy occurred late the night of the 15th into the early hours of the 16th. The man with the biggest heart had his heart give out on him, which resulted in his untimely passing. We grieve his loss immensely and love him so much.

There are now a list of unexpected costs that the family is saddled with. We are looking at cremation and having a form of service/celebration of life in Colorado for his close friends, family, and another in Texas where our extended family and his brothers and sisters and their families all live. We will update our loved ones with these time and dates for services when they are determined.

The sudden loss has also left Melinda alone in a house they shared with its own costs and future financial burden that will greatly affect her. Any help is greatly appreciated and will go towards end of life preparations and services for John and the rest to help our amazing mother with navigating the uncertain terrain of what comes next in his absence.
