Our Beloved Dad Bobby Taylor

On January 24, 2017 our dad was traveling back to Oregon from Arkansas after saying goodbye to his younger brother who is suffering from lung cancer. While on a layover in Denver Colorado he suffered a heart attack at the Denver airport. CPR was administered at the airport by security guard and he was taken to University of Colorado Medical Center in Denver. During a procedure to repair his heart he coded twice. He was placed on a ventilator to recover from the ordeal. He was extubated three days later and we enjoyed a few hours with him before the acquired pneumonia in his lungs took over. He was reintubated and there have been several life-saving procedures performed by this excellent medical team to help him recover. At this time he is still on a ventilator and very much struggling . My sisters and I have been struggling to stay by his side, to be able to afford time off work and afford the very minimum to survive during this crisis that has occurred so far away from home. We would love nothing more than for one of us to be able to be with him until this awful time has passed. We are still hopeful that we will be able to bring him home. Although this amount would not touch his medical expenses it would allow my sister to stay in Denver with him, and give us all peace of mind that he is not away from home alone. My dad is a wonderful, funny, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Anything that you can give to allow one of us to be with him through this ordeal would be such a gift and so much appreciated.
