With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, yet in full acceptance of Allah’s Divine Will, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of our beloved brother Ibrahim Rashid. Allah Ta’ala has decreed for his soul to be taken into the realm of souls. Indeed all souls belong to Him and shall return to Him.

Brother Ibrahim was a man of humility, generosity and sincere in his faith and supported many grassroots community initiatives. Those who knew him may recall his genuine smile, his kindness and his love for all that which Allah Ta’ala was pleased with, but only his Lord can fully recognise the contributions our brother has made to the ummah, the beautiful deeds he has done for His sake and the eternal rewards that will follow Insha Allah.

May Allah Ta’ala ease his transition to the next world and make every path easy for him and may he be amongst the believers the beloved Prophet (Saw) will intercede for. May Allah Ta’ala raise him in ranks in the Akhirah as he has raised him in his ranks as a believer in the Dunya. May Allah Ta’ala increase him in his contentment with his deeds and excitement to meet the One he strived for. And may Allah allow him to reunite with all of our brothers and sisters who have returned to their Lord in the best of places.

We also pray for all his family, especially his two children Hannah and Daniyal, and may Allah Ta’ala protect them with His Loving Care.

Allah Ta’ala has enjoined us to love our brothers and sisters, and we strive to benefit those we love especially through performing good deeds. Insha Allah we aim to fund a well as a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for brother Ibrahim and may Allah Ta’ala accept it from us.
