Help Amarly to Save Her Leg
Donation protected
Dear friends, animal lovers, and kind-hearted individuals,
We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea to help our beloved furry family member, Amarly who is facing a long and expensive road to recovery.
Early Friday evening Amarly was playing joyfully with my grandson and his father Tal at the park behind our home, when a momentary lapse led her to chase her curious nose and run away.
Tal and Safi went out on a foot search for her with no success.
Amarly’s adventure took a painful turn not long after when we received a call that someone had spotted her near the shops and Tal got in the car to go find her.
Within a minute of Tal driving, Amarly darted out from in between 2 parked cars onto the road in front of Tals car and was hit, leaving her with fractures and dislocation in the tarsal region but more concerning is the completely torn ligaments and tendons that hold the bones and joint in place and has left her with complete instability of the Tarsal joint.
We are reaching out for any assistance to provide Amarly with the specialized surgery she desperately needs. The vet has informed us that without this surgery, our options are limited to amputation, an outcome we refuse to accept for our cherished Amarly who isn't just a dog; she's an integral part of our family.
How You Can Help:
The initial emergency vet bills have already amounted to nearly $4000, and the projected cost of the surgery, along with the required follow-up care of weekly bandage and cast change under sedation is estimated to be a minimum of $8000.
We're determined to give Amarly the best chance at a full recovery, and will do whatever it takes to ensure Amarly's bright spirit and zest for life can shine once again, and we need your help to make that happen.
We understand the financial strain that everyone faces, especially during these times, but we are humbly asking for your support in any way you can.
Any amount you can contribute, every dollar counts in our journey to help Amarly regain her mobility, her smile, and her wagging tail. Your contribution will go directly towards covering the costs of the surgery and the weekly follow-up bandage and cast changes under sedation.
With your support, we can provide her with the specialized surgery she needs to heal and thrive. We are immensely grateful for every bit of help you can provide, whether it's through a donation, sharing her story, or offering your kind words. Let's come together and give Amarly the gift of running on all 4 paws again.
From our hearts to yours,
Love Kat, Amarly and the fam
